Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

What's On The Mind of Our Readers?

Hey BJ!
I got the CD of your initial sermon and listened to it here at work. Girl, that was so awesome. I wanted to get out of my chair and get my shout on!
I’ve been to the website and you have done such a wonderful job on creating it. It’s beautiful and informative.
I’m about ready to sit and listen to it, again. Gonna be blessed even the more.
Congrats on the calling and I know that there are greater things coming.

Don't let the devil steal your joy...

Nehemiah 8:10b "...Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

In your weakest moments, rely on the word of God, for it says that the joy of the Lord is your strength! This is why it is so important to stay focused on His goodness and not allow people, things, and circumstances to distract you from the work that God is doing in you and around you. Recognize always that the devil is on his job - his job of stealing, killing and destroying (constantly!) God wants us to focus on Him and rejoice always.  Rejoicing builds up our confidence level and keeps us strong.  When we are strong and confident, we are greater assets to God and His Kingdom.  Of course the devil is gonna come and cause you to think of something to get you down, or he is gonna use people in your lives to try to get you down when you are joyous.  In fact, the devil will do whatever he can to get your thoughts all off balance; But you cannot let that rob you of your joy.  Continue to remember the way God has used you and the way He has blessed you.  Continue to think on the things above and stay in His will for your life. Don't let the devil steal your joy or your life.  Your joy is your strength--yes, indeed, it is your strength!!!!  Be Butterfly Blessed!!
